Philosophy Meets Practice
Welcome to the Rope Practitioner
Rope follows the laws of physics. You follow the laws of purpose
Here you don’t just get better at rope work. You become better because of it.
I’m Brandon Powers and I have 25+ years of rope work experience. I started in vertical caving and continued as a firefighter. Now I serve as captain of a technical cave rescue team.
Certified as both a SPRAT and IRATA Level 3 technician, I currently serves as Captain of the Chattanooga Hamilton County Cave/Cliff Technical Rescue Team and is an Instructor for the National Cave Rescue Commission. I am the founder of The Rope Practitioner, LLC, providing expert rope access and rescue training.
This is more than skills, it’s a mindset.
More than performance, it’s a practice.
